'Fly Through Time' - Journal

 'volant per tempus'

Well I figured it was about time I make another hand bound journal to add to the collection. Each time I learn something new in this remarkable adventure. Something extra to add, or adapt to the next. Using some amazing products from Mixed Media Place, mediums, metal embellishments and even rust paste.

I'm not going to go in to too much detail here, but there is more over at Mixed Media Place blog. For now, here are some pics:

Thank you for stopping by and as always it means so much to me seeing you here.

Wishing you the best year possible with lots of creative mojo!

Winter Wonderland Tags

Over on the Mixed Media World blog, we're starting a fresh new challenge!

The theme this month is:

Winter Wonderland

This is my inspirational piece for this month. Two light, bright, christmassy tags.

Lots of mixed media from Prima Marketing and Scrapiniec. The papers are from Salvage District, along with the title, lots sparkling Snowflake Paste run through Finnabar's Star stencil, as well as generously loaded here and there for further texture.

Cheesecloth (always seems a must for me) and Burlap from 49 and Market to give a texture base.

See the sparkle coming through from the Snowflake Paste - yummers!!

Quick spritz of Prima Color Bloom Empress Gold.

And of course not forgetting some gorgeous chips from Scrapiniec. I love their pieces, so delicate and intricate, and where the colour is such a soft natural wood colour you can use straight out the pack as they are!

Seasonal hugs,

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

'Wild' Layout

My turn over on the 49 and Market blog today and I have for you my 'Wild' layout to share.

The colours for this was inspired by the palette from Lindy's Stamp Gang this month. I fell in love with them and knew I had to create this layout based on that colour scheme.

Using beautiful papers, flowers and stamps from 49 and Market, I created this layout. I love foxes and it felt perfect to do this whilst we're on the cusp of Autumn falling into Winter. Very fortunate to live the English countryside where foxes live too.

My little piece from R&A :) Something just felt quite right about him sitting here. Symbolic?!!
Also, some Scrapiniec chippies - yum!!

                                                Some more close ups....

I'd like to enter this over at Lindy's Stamp Gang Challenge for November:

I used the following sprays:

Embossing Powder:

Thanks so much for popping over to see me here today!
